Design & Project Manager – My client is the UK subsidiary of one of the leading Italian furniture companies working in the luxury contract market for multi-apartments.
The contract division delivers furniture and joinery packages & solutions to a range of high-end residential projects primarily for developers and blue-chip companies within the London area.
Due to successfully winning new business, my client is now seeking a Project Manager to join their established team based at their flagship store in Chelsea. This role will primarily focus on kitchens.
Design & Project Manager - The Role
This is a fantastic opportunity for a Project Manager to join the contract division of a leading Italian contract furniture company. They are a market leader within the luxury contract market.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day running of new business quotations involving liaising with Head Office for estimating costs and leading on the compilation of quotations. You will then follow this through to the design & project management stages, working closely with the internal team and the client.
Design & Project Manager - The Package
* Excellent basic salary of £35,000 - £45,000 (negotiable)

Design & Project Manager - The Candidate
The ideal candidate will bring proven experience within the contract kitchen industry. This role will require you to read detailed drawings & floor plans, create quotations on Excel, liaise with clients, and request more information when needed.
* Organisational skills
* A comprehension working knowledge of AutoCAD and Excel.
* An ability to proactively lead and develop strong internal client relationships is essential.
* The ability to manage multiple projects at a time and work as a team.
* A knowledge of document control
* A background in architecture & design would be advantageous.
* Ability to think commercially.
