Are you passionate about the Welsh language and its promotion and development within Carmarthenshire? We are looking for an experienced manager who can lead on, and co-ordinate the implementation and monitoring of the Welsh in Education Strategic Plan and Carmarthenshire Welsh Language Promotion Strategy. The successful candidate will be responsible for the promotion and development of Welsh language and bilingual teaching and learning across all learning settings as well as working with County stakeholders on the promotion of the Welsh language, in accordance with national and local policies and strategies.
There will be a need to work strategically with key organisations and partners both nationally and locally to promote the Welsh language and culture. The Council's ambition to expand Welsh medium and bilingual education is central to this role as well as promoting the increased use of the Welsh Language in our communities.
