We are looking for someone who will support the Registered Service Manager to implement innovation whilst maintaining a positive environment for both those we support and our amazing staff group. This role is ideal for those ready for the next step on the career ladder.
Based in East Dunbartonshire, Ravenswood and its attached outreach service provide support for people who are at risk of or have experience of homelessness. It’s a safe, supportive environment where people can gain skills and confidence and start to plan the rest of their lives.
As a Team Leader, you will support the Registered Service Manager with the delivery of the service. You will also be responsible for ensuring a high-quality person-centred approach is delivered. It's a chance for you to showcase your confidence in your own abilities to effectively manage a team.
Shift working including evenings and weekends is a requirement of the post; night shifts may also be required on occasion as well as out of hours on call. Previous working experience with the client group is preferred, and previous supervisory experience is desirable.
Great leadership skills are essential to inspire your team through leading by example and delivering high-quality, flexible person-centred support while communicating effectively across all levels and with various external professionals.
We will ensure you have all the training and development you need to have the right tools to not only do a great job but help you build a successful career within the foundation.
You will be part of a foundation whose mission is to improve and enrich the lives of the most vulnerable people in our communities.
The successful candidate must possess excellent organisational skills and IT skills. Experience of MS Office is essential, particularly Word and Excel.
If you are looking for a new and rewarding challenge, this may be the ideal opportunity for you.
We value our staff very highly. Alongside competitive terms and conditions, we also offer membership of a great employee benefits scheme – Mungo Money. Joining Mungo Money provides full access to supermarket, fuel, cinema, restaurant discounts, discounts off your next family holiday, savings on gym memberships and equipment, Cycle to Work scheme, and so much more. We also offer access to a credit union and workplace pension plus numerous training and development opportunities, including SVQ registration level qualifications.
If you would like to apply for this position, please email recruitment@themungofoundation.org.uk with a CV and supporting statement.
Appointments are made subject to satisfactory membership of the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme, SSSC registration, and appropriate safer recruitment checks, but we will guide you through this.
