We make the positive case for the valuable role that capital markets can and should play in driving the economy through research and events, and we are currently hiring a CRM administrator to join our team to oversee the management and integrity of our customer data within our CRM system. This is an entry-level role with strong opportunities for career progression in data analytics and CRM management. For the right candidate, this role can expand to include additional responsibilities, such as running analytics on the database and generating reports based on events and research distributions. The role: This role reports to the head of data and business support and involves managing and maintaining the New Financial CRM system (‘Insightly’) to ensure accurate and up-to-date customer and account information. Responsibilities also include updating records based on marketing distributions, event invitations, and other correspondence, as well as maintaining overall data quality. Key tasks include: Updating individual records in the CRM, including adding new contacts, updating job titles, tracking departures, and changing membership statuses Regularly updating records to reflect changes in organisational structures at member firms, regulators, and central banks Identifying and resolving data discrepancies to ensure accuracy and consistency throughout the database Pulling contact lists and generating reports from the CRM as required Creating and managing filtered contact lists for research distributions, event invitations, and business development, as specified by line managers Assisting with the distribution of research reports, event write-ups, and invitations Managing and updating event attendance records Monitoring and responding to requests through the company inbox and occasionally the events inbox Updating the company website with the latest research papers and upcoming events Skills and qualifications: At least 2 years of experience in an office environment Candidates must be highly motivated and proactive, with the ability to work independently and take initiative to solve problems and improve processes Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in handling data is essential, as are strong written and verbal communication skills to ensure clear and effective interactions with colleagues A willingness to learn and the ability to quickly grasp new tools, systems, and concepts are important Candidates must also demonstrate the ability to manage sensitive information with the utmost integrity and maintain strict confidentiality Strong proficiency in Excel, including formulas and functions (e.g., XLOOKUP, PivotTables), as well as data formatting and analysis tools, is required Experience with CRM platforms within the financial services sector is not essential, as full training will be provided.
