The key function is to support NHS Property Services in delivering building services maintenance and repairs across the NHS to ensure buildings are maintained to the highest standards and to provide a safe and secure environment for staff and customers. To manage Facilities Services Delivery across multiple locations providing a high quality and cost-effective service to customers/the organisation. Key aspects of this role may include the management and supervision of the local Hard FM Services.
Main duties of the job
Ensures compliance in line with all processes/procedures and policies that meet organisational standards/requirements including but not limited to our Health & Safety Policy/HTMS (Health Technical Memoranda) and SFG20. Can implement new standards and lead change to manage continual improvement. Conducts quality audits of works to ensure minimum organisational standards are met and maintained, taking immediate corrective action when required. Undertakes toolbox talks and leads health & safety compliance across teams. Meets with customers and contractors to ensure works are delivered to organisational standards and resolves first-line customer complaints or escalates to the line manager with recommendations for corrective actions.

Job responsibilities
We have a great opportunity for a Technical Services Supervisor based in London - 10 South Colonnade Canary Wharf. This is a permanent, full-time role working 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8am-4:30pm. The starting salary is from £47,000 (depending on experience) plus on-call allowance. The role covers North London and requires a driving licence.
Requirements for the role
* Qualifications: At least one of the following:
o Specialist knowledge acquired through experience or qualification.
o Level 3 NVQ or equivalent in related building services.
o Formal apprenticeship or craft trained within building services.
o IOSH Managing Safely or equivalent.
* Additional Requirements:
o Driving licence is essential.
o Comfortable using technological devices to log jobs.
o On-call availability.
o Industry experience is desirable.
o Ability to work independently and as part of a team, collaborating with other technical disciplines.
o DBS and DVLA checks required.
Key Responsibilities
* Ensure compliance with NHSPS health, safety, and wellbeing policies, technical guidance, processes, procedures, and statutory regulations.
