A leading London based University is recruiting a Digital Learning Manager to join their Learning and Leadership Development Team. The role is key to transforming the staff learning offer by developing and managing a digital strategy aligned with organisational goals. It will create engaging, tailored learning experiences for employees using learning design methodologies, AI technologies, and adult learning theories to enhance accessibility and quality.
Key responsibilities:
* Regularly evaluate online learning for learner experience, accessibility, and completion rates.
* Collaborate on dashboard reporting and identify automation improvements in course setups.
* Lead online learning design with content owners and external partners, focusing on engagement and motivation.
* Establish a standard methodology for project management and implementation of online learning.
* Ensure proper contracting, licensing, and alignment of course designs with learning outcomes.
* Promote inclusive, accessible content, ensuring quality and cross-browser compatibility.
* Supervise digital learning teams and external suppliers, curating a preferred list of providers.
* Drive continuous improvement and innovation in learning technologies, staying updated on digital trends.
Candidate profile:
* Thorough knowledge of systems and tools like Cornerstone Learning, authoring tools (Rise, Articulate, Storyline), and platforms (Adobe Suite, Vyond)
* Understanding of how multimedia, web-based, and mobile technologies enhance learning outcomes
* Awareness of pedagogical, social, and cultural issues in learning environments and the ability to address them
* Experience developing on-brand learning materials with teams, subject matter experts, suppliers, and contractors, while meeting project timelines and budgets
* Strong project management skills to deliver high performance within deadlines and budgets
* Ability to manage a diverse workload, shifting priorities, and multiple stakeholders in a flexible team environment
* Effective people management skills with a focus on growth, innovation, and performance excellence
* Strong communication skills for building long-term relationships with delivery partners and stakeholders
Salary and benefits:
* Daily rate: £300 - £350 paid via an umbrella company
* 3 month temporary contract, with the possibility of extension
* Work location: London
* Work pattern: hybrid (40% of time on site)
