We are looking for a proactive and reliable individual with excellent communication skills to take on the role of Clerk to the Governors. You can apply to work at one or more of our six fantastic Leicestershire based schools.

About the Role:
As Clerk to the Governors, you will play a vital role in supporting our Governors to comply with statutory requirements and best practices. Your work will ensure that Governors’ meetings run smoothly, agendas and relevant documents prepared in advance. During meetings, you will take accurate minutes and keep discussions on track.
Outside of meetings, you will provide administrative support, maintain governance records and develop a strong working knowledge of governance rules and procedures to assist Governors with any queries.

School governors provide strategic direction, oversee financial management and hold the leadership team accountable for delivering the best possible education for all pupils within an inclusive and well-managed learning environment.
No Experience in Governance?
You don’t need prior governance experience to apply. The Trust will provide full governance training and support for suitable candidates, making this a fantastic opportunity for those looking for a career change or to gain valuable experience in school governance.
