Our client, a Chartered Accountancy Practice based in Shere, Surrey has a new role for a Trainee Accountant to join their Team. Reporting to the Practice Manager, duties will include: - Assisting with statutory accounts production, from client records to draft statutory accounts Corporation tax computation, understanding and interpretation Completion of or support of independent examinations Support of audit services Understanding of bookkeeping, VAT and management accounting both practically and in order to interpret Ensure compliance with all financial regulations Carry out continuous reviews of working accounting practices and processes to ensure efficient and cost effective operations Adhoc duties To be considered for this role it is essential that candidates have at least 1 years’ accountancy experience within Industry or Practice. Full training will be given, but a working knowledge of accounts is essential. Due to the location, candidates must have access to their own vehicle.
