We're thrilled to announce a compelling opportunity for a versatile Process Engineer to provide crucial support in imaging wafer fab and backthinning.
In this role, you'll be actively involved in a diverse range of processes across the department, contributing to development and enhancement tasks.
Responsibilities: Process Support: Quickly address process issues and collaborate with team members to resolve them efficiently, providing regular updates to the team.
Technical Assistance: Offer technical expertise to internal and external stakeholders, with a focus on troubleshooting production and yield issues.
Set up recipes and work instructions for new designs.
Documentation & Training: Ensure processes, equipment, and documentation are in place for effective manufacturing.
Mentor and train personnel to maintain operational efficiency.
Data Analysis: Collect and analyse process data to address yield issues and monitor performance using Excel and SPC software.
Process Improvements: Identify and implement improvement opportunities to optimise yield, cycle time, and process capability using continuous improvement techniques.
Equipment Setup: Support the introduction and qualification of new equipment, ensuring smooth integration into production.
Adaptability: Be prepared for evolving responsibilities as business needs change.
Requirements: Degree-level qualification in Engineering or a related subject.
High proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
Practical mindset with logical problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong teamwork ethic with effective communication skills.
Willingness to work extended periods in a cleanroom environment, wearing a full cleanroom suit.
Nice to have: Experience working in a semiconductor production environment.
Experience in SAP Maintenance.
Salary and Benefits: On site in Chelmsford.
Early/late split shifts: Early: 6:00–14:00 (Mon–Thu), 6:00–13:30 (Fri) and Late: 13:30–21:30 (Mon–Thu), 13:00–20:30 (Fri) including a 25% shift allowance.
