Job Title: Senior Community Support Worker
Location: Wythenshawe, Manchester
Salary: Up to £32,198 per annum

Senior Community Support Worker Requirements
* Possession of a Diploma Level 3 or 4 in Residential Childcare (Children and Young Peoples Workforce) or equivalent
* Min of 2 years’ experience in working with Children and Young People that have social and emotional difficulties or behaviour that challenges, including supervisory experience
* Full UK Manual Driving Licence
Senior Community Support Responsibilities
* Ensuring that the Young People receive the highest standard of support/care appropriate to their individual needs.
* Maximise educational opportunities and achievements for young people accessing the home by assisting in identifying, establishing, supporting educational provision and contributing to educational reviews.
* Providing advice, assistance, and support to Young People, always safeguarding their welfare.
* Ensuring that all risks are safely managed in line with the company policies and procedures.
* Make assessments of need and coordinate the formulation of plans to enable these needs to be met, taking into account the wishes and feelings of the young people, their parents and other persons with parental responsibility, and in line with legislation pertaining to children and young adults.
* Working closely with Young People to enable them to address their difficulties and achieve their optimum potential.
* Communicating effectively with the team of staff coming onto shift ensuring that a thorough account of your shifts events has taken place.
Senior Community Support Worker Rewards
* Salary up to £32,198 per annum depending on experience and qualifications
