Job Title: Leisure Operations Assistant

We are seeking engaging and inspiring individuals to work as leisure operations assistants across various programmes in the UK. Your main responsibilities will include supervising swimming lessons to ensure safety, delivering lifesaving and first aid support, and providing excellent customer service in a premium environment.
You will support the teaching team, supervise the pool, utilize technology to enhance customer engagement, and work as part of a team to deliver a top-tier experience. This role involves customer interaction, attending training sessions, and participating in team meetings to share best practices.
This position is for weekday evenings and weekends. We offer excellent development opportunities, including progression into roles such as team leader, mentor, tutor, or assistant manager, with qualifications in swimming instruction for children, babies, and adults.

Duties
* Perform lifeguard duties during learn-to-swim lessons for children aged 0-11, from non-swimmers to competent swimmers.
* Plan, deliver, and review themed learn-to-swim lessons for children aged 3-11, babies, and adults.
* Provide exceptional customer care to swimmers and their families both in and out of the water.
* Ensure the safe usage, storage, cleaning, and maintenance of all equipment.
* Complete and record health and safety checks electronically as assigned by the swim! manager.
* Maintain the facility to a high standard, ensuring cleanliness and safety for all users and staff.
* Engage in personal development through training, observation, and feedback to uphold high standards.
* Act as a positive role model, encouraging young people to reach their swimming potential.
* Deliver the swim@ experience by handling customer inquiries, giving tours, promoting memberships, and attending team training to ensure high standards.
* Distribute awards and certificates to celebrate swimmer achievements.
* Adhere to all swim@ policies, including equal opportunities, safeguarding, health and safety, and operational procedures (training provided).
