Nursery Manager Are you a passionate leader who thrives in a hands-on role? We are seeking an experienced and proactive Nursery Manager to lead our dynamic team in delivering outstanding care and education for children. As a Nursery Manager, you will provide professional leadership to ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the nursery while maintaining the highest standards of care, education, and compliance. You will play a vital role in supporting staff development, fostering a nurturing environment for children, and promoting the nursery to prospective families through open days and community engagement. Key Responsibilities • Leadership & Management: Lead and motivate staff to deliver exceptional childcare and learning experiences. • EYFS Compliance: Ensure the nursery consistently meets the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and Ofsted requirements. • Safety & Safeguarding: Maintain a safe environment and ensure all staff understand and adhere to safeguarding protocols. • Special Needs Support: Champion inclusion and support children with special needs. • Health & Safety: Oversee compliance with health and safety policies, ensuring all staff have the appropriate first aid and safety training. • Staff Development: Induct, support, and train team members, conducting regular appraisals to uphold high-quality practices. • Child Development: Create an enriching environment for children to thrive in their early years through stimulating and age-appropriate activities. • Marketing & Engagement: Actively promote the nursery, participate in open days, and liaise with families to maintain strong relationships.
