Business Analyst - Annuities
Hybrid Working - Edinburgh or Telford - 1-2 days a week on site.

Lorien's leading Pension and Investment client is looking for a Business Analyst with skills of working with Annuities to join the existing team.
This role is based in Edinburgh or Telford and will be via Umbrella.
Main skills needed:
1. Retirement Solutions area - extract information from all relevant sources to establish an accurate scope of the analysis exercise.
2. Undertake analysis of a range of data sources to produce options and recommendations for a workable solution, and drive action from key decision makers.
3. Gather and validate relevant information either through facilitating workshops, or other forms of direct engagement with stakeholders.
4. Present findings and recommendations to key stakeholder groups to support decision making.
5. Effectively manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure successful delivery of solutions.
6. Establish appropriate Governance & control measures within projects which align with overall Change and Company standards.
7. Investigate and implement new analysis techniques to improve overall quality of analysis and effectiveness of solutions recommended.
8. Balancing competing priorities on different pieces of work.
9. Simplify technical information into more easily understood terms.
10. Ensuring a continually high quality of output to ensure solutions are a good fit for the end user and/or for further input.
Key Skills and Experience:
1. Pensions background
2. Knowledge of BPMN, process mapping using Visio
3. Ability to adapt BA skills in a fast-paced environment
4. Previous experience of working on large complex delivery programs and with different delivery dates
5. Knowledge of using Office 365 suite
Highly desirable:
1. BPA hands-on experience, Individual Annuities products
2. Data slant
3. Worked with 3rd parties
4. Agile / Jira / Confluence
