What you will be doing:
Engineering:
Design, develop and maintain robust software applications that align with our digital transformation goals.
Collaboration:
Working within an Agile development team that will architect and develop our next generation of systems. Build upon relationship with cross functional teams to gather requirements, translate them into technical specifications and contribute to our digital initiatives to produce a technical engineered solution.
Testing & Debugging:
Conduct thorough testing, identify and resolve bugs whilst maintaining a high standard of code quality.
Documentation:
Document code, processes, and system architecture to support our evolving digital ecosystem.
Continuous Learning:
Stay updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices.
What you need:
Essential:
1. Bachelor's degree in computing science, software engineering or related field
2. Minimum 3 years' experience as a Software Engineer
3. Proficiency in C# & SQL
4. Rest API / JSON
5. Windows
6. Knowledge of Git / DevOps
7. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
8. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal and teamwork abilities
9. Ability to illustrate good quality code
10. Flexible and yet organised and structured approach to all aspects of work
Desirable:
1. Azure Development
2. X++ - Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (D365 F&O)
3. Power Platform – Exposure to Power App, Power Automate (Flow), and Power BI
4. Kafka
5. Mongo DB
6. SSIS or Data Factory
Hours: Monday – Friday 8.30am-5pm
Hybrid working from home options available once experienced.
