What skills and experience we're looking for
We are looking for two additional Lunchtime Supervisors to join our friendly lunchtime team. We are looking to appoint someone with a desire to work with children and help make the lunchtime period a happy and safe experience.
The successful candidate for the post will:
• Take instructions from Senior School Staff and the Lunchtime Behaviour Supervisor regarding the supervision of children throughout the lunchtime, having regard for school policies on behaviour.
• Supervise designated areas, both inside and outside, during the lunchtime period.
• Be able to communicate with children effectively.
• Actively promote positive behaviour
• Help maintain a tidy and safe dining hall at all times
• Supervise pupils during the lunchtime period and tackle and report accidents, incidents and challenge inappropriate behaviour as appropriate, working within school’s behavioural system.
• Ensure that all dining and other areas are cleared of pupils at the relevant time.
• Be required to undertake other duties commensurate with the grade and level of responsibility defined in this description.
• Be highly motivated and work well as part of a team.
• Be committed to the safeguarding and well-being of all children.
• Support the positive and caring ethos of the school.
