Senior Health, Safety, Environment and Quality Manager
Location: Derby, with Regional site travel
Salary: £55,000 - £65,000 Plus Company Car, Bonus and Excellent Benefits

We've been engaged by one of the leading integrated waste management companies in the UK to recruit a Senior Health, Safety, Environment and Quality Manager. The role is focused on promoting a positive health and safety culture and to improve health and safety performance across the company. This is a regional role covering multiple sites with the main office based in the Derbyshire area.
Responsibilities
1. Ensuring the site is compliant with both UK legislation and in line with wider Group strategy for Health, Safety and Environment
2. Auditing Health, Safety and Environment performance, accurately reporting and investigating any incidents, accidents or near misses
3. Engaging with key internal and external stakeholders including senior management, operational staff and external regulators
4. Leading on new initiatives and always seeking opportunities to improve and develop Health, Safety and Environment performance
5. Supporting on the development and improvement of the ISO management systems 9001, 14001 and 45001
Requirements
1. Proven experience in a similar role within waste, environmental services or a related industry
2. NEBOSH certificate or equivalent and ideally membership of a relevant professional body (i.e IOSH)
3. The ability to influence and engage with all levels of the organisation
4. An enthusiastic and positive approach to health and safety
5. A UK Driver's license is essential for this role
