This role involves creating compelling content, managing social media platforms, conducting market research, and supporting the delivery of effective communication initiatives to increase brand awareness and drive business growth.
Key Responsibilities: Marketing Strategy and Planning: Assist in the development and implementation of marketing strategies aligned with the organisation's goals.
Support the execution of marketing campaigns across various channels (digital, print, events) to raise awareness and engage target audiences.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align marketing efforts with other departments, ensuring a cohesive brand message.
Content Creation and Management: Create engaging content for websites, social media, newsletters, press releases, blogs, brochures, and other marketing materials.
Develop messaging and content that resonates with the target audience and reflects the company’s brand identity.
Oversee content calendars and manage the approval process to ensure timely delivery.
Digital Marketing and Social Media: Manage and update the organisation’s social media profiles Plan and execute social media campaigns and track performance using analytics tools.
Monitor digital marketing trends and identify opportunities to expand the organisation’s online presence.
Public Relations and Media Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with media outlets, journalists, and influencers to ensure positive media coverage.
Draft and distribute press releases, media kits, and other public relations materials.
Manage the organization’s reputation and respond to media inquiries in a timely manner.
Brand Management: Ensure consistent use of branding and messaging across all marketing materials and platforms.
Maintain and enforce brand guidelines to ensure uniformity in all communication.
Develop and support internal communication strategies to keep staff informed of key marketing initiatives.
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field.
Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in marketing, communications, or a related field (experience in a healthcare would be advantageous).
Strong understanding of digital marketing tools, platforms, and analytics.
Proficiency in social media platforms.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft clear, compelling messages.
Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks and deadlines.
Creativity and a keen eye for design and content presentation.
Desired Skills: Knowledge of email marketing software (e.g., Mail Chimp, HubSpot).
Familiarity with video production and editing tools.
