Here at ISS, as one of the UK’s leading Facilities Management (FM) providers, we are looking to expand our engineering resource aligned against our client’s highly prestigious corporate banking site in West End, London.
This is one of the oldest banks in the world, and so is a highly unique facility, with great brand recognition across the sector. Therefore, strong engineering delivery to maintain all M&E is crucial.
This role as Technical Services Operations Manager is to lead the shift engineering team dedicated to maintaining M&E, Fabric and to complete small Projects. As this is a critical site, there is an array of critical systems, namely UPS, DRUPS, Generators, Cooling Towers, HVAC plus more non-critical applications.
It is your job to ensure the team maintain these complex systems correctly, through strong team leadership and adherence to compliance and Safe Systems of Work while representing the engineering service to the client. This is a fantastic role for a Technical manager to develop their all-round Operations Knowledge within a world-class, iconic facility.
Actions will include:
* Surveillance of all Critical systems, understand operating parameters and set points.
* Surveillance of all engineering related works undertaken on the portfolio.
* Complete representative audit of all works undertaken by your direct team and peers.
* Provision of Safe operational programme documentation.
* Ensure correct escalation process is followed, acting as principal incident manager out of hours.
* Ensure high quality delivery of PPM and reactive works to meet SLA.
* Provide regular team performance reviews to Senior Technical Manager.
* Carry out regular appraisals of their engineering team.
* Ensure standards are met, including dress code, attitude, pride, self-respect and respect to others, positivity and team working.
* Understand and implement H&S policy requirements.
* Regularly review risk assessments and audit H&S compliance of direct team and peer group.
We need from you:
* Clear leadership engineering experience, ideally within a similar environment, plus a strong level of M&E qualification.
