CK Group are recruiting for an Administrative Assistant, to join a biotechnology company, who are based near Cambridge, on a 6 month contract basis. The Company: Our client is a pioneering biotechnology company, with a strong pipeline of innovative products aiming to improve the therapeutic viability of potential molecules. Location: This role is based on a technology park, based to the south of Cambridge. Role: Support and ensure efficient operation of the office and laboratory. Handle deliveries and ensure that they are stored in the correct conditions. Maintain and order office supplies. Keep facilities maintenance and equipment maintenance calendar up to date. Organise and maintain service contracts. Be the main point of contact for preventative maintenance requirements and calling for repairs. Ensure the highest standard of record keeping, maintaining accurate, complete, and up to date records. Update the weekly team rota as part of overseeing that the office and kitchen areas are clean and maintained. Your Background: Good education background and experience of working in an administrative role previously. Excellent communication and organisational skills. A high level of attention to detail. Data entry skills and knowledge of databases and spreadsheets, including Microsoft Excel. Other IT skills including a working knowledge of Microsoft 365.
