Camfil is hiring an IT Manager, Center of Excellence to support and develop our complex and growing business.
The Center of Excellence Manager is responsible for delivering technical and functional services from the Business Requirements and Business Applications teams. The goal is to implement Camfil group's business and IT strategies in the EMEA Center of Excellence teams, focusing on implementation projects and application lifecycle management. This ensures all applications are effectively implemented, managed and continuously improved.
As the Center of Excellence Manager, you will join the regional IT management team, play a key role in IT delivery and drive the company's growth. You maintain a positive work environment where people can develop skills, innovate and perform well. You'll also act as a role model, developing the regional IT organization to meet both regional goals and the overall Camfil group strategy.
In this role, you will work closely with business representatives to understand their needs and connect them with IT solutions and emerging technologies. The position includes managing financial resources and leading a team of 30 employees, including Team Leads and Managers. It requires a blend of technical expertise, operational skills, and strong leadership abilities.
This exciting and challenging position can be based in any European country where Camfil has a legal entity, with a strong preference to those European locations where we have sites with IT Hub teams located (Germany, Sweden, Poland, etc.)
Role Priorities:
* Contribute to and drive the regional IT delivery together with VP IT and the other managers in the region
* Plan, support, and supervise IT-projects in the region to ensure resource efficiency and quality as well as plan and coordinate the work to support and drive business value with IT as the tool
* Develop the regional IT-plan, processes, and ways of working together with VP IT and the other managers in the region
* Lead, manage and develop the Center of Excellence teams
* Develop and drive the global functions and deliveries together with CIO, regional VP ITs and Group IT
* Deliver resources to the global functions and projects owned by the other regions when needed
* Deliver yearly budget and relevant reports to VP IT.
* Select and manage external service providers
* Participate in Steering Committees when relevant
What you will need to succeed:
* Post-secondary education with relevance to business, IT, and/or leadership
* Knowledge of systems development, lifecycle management and end user support services.
* Experience in leading and developing multicultural IT organizations
* Experience in large implementations of IT services and projects as well as leading ERP operations and maintenance and working with ITIL as a framework.
* Strong communication, collaboration and presentation skills
* Willingness and flexibility to travel, mainly within Europe
