Day to day this may look like -
* Delivering people initiatives - Actively contribute to key people projects within the people roadmap. Working both independently and collaboratively to design, implement, and deliver initiatives and programs that drive positive employee experience and high performance across Slater Heelis.
* Change management - Supporting and delivering change initiatives, partnering to embed these changes across the firm by working with teams and leaders, ensuring successful implementation and adoption.
* Process optimisation – Developing and refining current people processes, looking for opportunities to improve efficiency, streamline workflows, and enhance overall employee satisfaction.
* Upskilling - Support the upskilling, coaching, and development of people leaders across the firm. Partnering with them to implement best practices in people management and provide your expertise on developing high-performing teams.
* Communication – Collaborating with the Marketing Team to design and publish internal comms.
* People operations - Manage key aspects of people operations throughout the employee lifecycle. This includes coordinating key HR processes (e.g., performance reviews, promotions, employee relations issues) and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations within functional areas.
* Employee relations – Support and partner with leaders to address employee relations matters. Advise on appropriate solutions, manage conflict resolution, and ensure alignment with UK Employment Law. Provide ongoing support for maintaining positive and compliant working relationships.
* People Frameworks/Policies - Assist in the creation and regular updating of people policies and procedures, ensuring they align with best practices.
