We have an excellent opportunity to employ a permanent, full-time band 4 Personal Assistant (PA)/Administrator to join our team.
The role is to provide PA support to the Access & Community Clinical Business Unit (CBU) and Managers within services across Community in North Cumbria. You will work closely with the CBU administrative team to ensure operational aspects of services run efficiently.
You will be expected to provide PA/admin support to the CBU leadership team as well as supporting Clinical Managers where required.
You will need to be highly motivated, enthusiastic with a 'can do' attitude and have previous experience of working in a personal assistant/administrative role at a similar level.
Main duties of the job
You will possess excellent organisational, secretarial and communication skills. You will need to proactively manage diaries with utmost discretion, anticipating the needs of the Leads. The ability to effectively prioritise constantly changing workloads is a must, as is the need to act on your own initiative.
You will arrange and take notes at meetings and must be able to take and accurately transcribe notes from complex discussions. You must also be proactive to follow up on actions from the meetings and collate papers for circulation.
You will have extensive working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Word, Outlook and Teams and how they are used in an office environment. You will possess up to date administration skills and be able to demonstrate excellent attention to detail and accuracy in your work.
You will have excellent communication, negotiation, and organisational skills with the ability to work within agreed parameters with minimal supervision managing competing priorities to complete tasks and work requests.
You will undertake a wide variety of complex admin tasks including coordinating training courses, monitoring tasks within the central inboxes and maintaining service-specific records.

Job responsibilities
The Access & Community CBU within North Cumbria supports the delivery of community based mental health services to people of all ages. The Clinical Business Unit is made up of several Clinical services each headed by a Clinical Manager and each containing its respective administration team. The CBU leadership team oversees and manages all operational, clinical and service delivery aspects of these services.
Your base will be Carleton Clinic, Carlisle. There will be the opportunity to work remotely during the working week however there is an expectation that when working remotely you are able to come into the office at short notice to cover for absence and urgent work.

* Educated to GCSE Level or Equivalent
* Audio typing qualification or relevant demonstrable experience
