PE Teacher for a S ec ondary SEMH provision
We are currently looking for a passionate and supportive PE Teacher to join an all boys secondary SEMH school in Colchester. This is a full time role starting in September.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality PE lessons to students across Key Stages 3 and 4.
2. Use innovative and effective teaching strategies to engage students and enhance their understanding of Physical Education.
3. Assess, monitor, and report on student progress, providing feedback to students and parents as required.
4. Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that fosters a love of learning and encourages student participation.
5. Collaborate with colleagues and participate in departmental and staff meetings.
6. Contribute to the development and implementation of the maths curriculum.
7. Uphold the school's values and policies, promoting a safe and supportive learning environment.

Qualifications and Experience:
11. A degree in Physical Education or a related field.
12. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
13. Previous experience teaching PE at the secondary school level.
14. Strong subject knowledge and a passion for PE.
15. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
16. Ability to inspire and motivate students of all abilities.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
