Job Description
As Technical Implementation Consultant, you will have the opportunity to implement Philips’ Health Care Information Systems (HCIS) solution: Pictures Archiving & Communications Systems (PACS) and third-party system integrations.
The role’s responsibilities include the technical qualification, local implementation, integration, training and support of Philips’ PACS solutions. The deliverables should meet or exceed customer expectations whilst remaining within the business and technical specifications. The role will deliver solutions that are supportable by the Philips’/ Carestream services teams. Additional responsibilities may include pre & post sales support.
The role requires capacity to travel, to work autonomously and participation in on call/extended hours support rota. It is a remote based role (working from home) majority of time, with requirements to go onsite when required.
Your role:
Implementation activities:
1. Deliver a controlled implementation of assigned HCIS projects with highest Philips quality standards.
2. Provide technical advice and assistance on software and hardware upgrades to Project Managers, Applications team, Incident Support team, Customers and Sales as required or directed.
3. Local responsibility for the technical components of assigned HCIS project installations, upgrades and planned maintenance from start to completion.
4. Participate in training programs to enhance technical and application skills.
5. Work with the Research & Development teams to improve the solutions.
Customer Focused activities:
1. Improve Customer satisfaction providing valuable solutions with highest Philips quality standards.
2. Gain knowledge and familiarity with customers and their environments within the assigned geography (current operations and workflow, desired operations and workflow, etc.)
Team working Activities:
1. During the implementation phase, liaise with Project Managers, Customers, technical teams, applications consultants, 3rd party suppliers in order to facilitate the delivery and related scheduling.
2. Meet with HCIS services and sales teams as required to provide customer feedback, assist with project plans and align schedules.
You're the right fit if you have:
1. Microsoft 2012/2016/2019 Server.
2. Virtualization technologies, such as Hyper-V and VMWare.
3. Networking understanding to a good level.
4. Ideally IT related medical standards: e.g. DICOM, Health Level Seven (HL7), and Integrating the Healthcare Enterprise (IHE).
5. Excellent communication skills with strong oral and written English-language knowledge.
6. A logical problem-solving approach and a strong attitude learning new IT technologies in a continual improvement process of professional skills.
7. Valid UK driving license.
8. Experience of working in a production environment against prescribed SLA’s.
