Here at The Mick George Group we are looking for Class 2 Tipper Drivers to join our Worlington site. Fantastic opportunity to join our existing team of Tipper Drivers. Successful applicants must hold a Category C driving license, Digital Tachograph card & Drivers Qualification card. Requirements: - Be fully aware of the rules of the road and the regulations specified in the Highway Code & always abide by them & the Road Traffic Act 1988. - Have sound knowledge of Road Transport Working Time Directive & Drivers Hours Regulations & abide by them. - Complete & record comprehensive pre-use & end of shift defect checks. - Continuously check the roadworthiness of your vehicle by way of walkaround checks throughout the course of each shift and report any defects found. - Always ensure that a load is secure in line with the vehicle safe system of work, before leaving site. Never travel with an unsafe, insecure or overweight load. - Adhere to site specific rules at all times, following rules signposted & given to you on respective site inductions. - Maintain a high standard of vehicle cleanliness-both interior & exterior. - Contribute in your fullest capacity to the company delivering a best-in-class customer service to all our customers, including maintaining a good relationship with customers at all times. - Undertake any other duties that are if a a reasonable request. - Demonstrate a safe, economic & defensive driving style at all times. - Category C driving license, Digital Tachograph card & Drivers Qualification card. - Demonstrate a high standard of geographical knowledge.
