KEY RESPONSIBILITIES + DUTIES
* Assemble units following drawings and documentation.
* Maintain high-quality standards and achieve productivity/cycle time expectations.
* Study and interpret assembly instructions.
* Liaise with supervision on any issues arising during the shift, including component shortages and quality issues.
* Troubleshoot and resolve assembly problems through structured investigation methods, escalating to supervision when necessary.
* Notify the Section Leader to obtain any additional resources for complete and on-time assembly.
* Keep equipment operational by completing preventative maintenance requirements.
* Maintain a clean and safe working area, complying with Company 5S processes and standards.
* Complete necessary training programs for efficient performance and personal development.
* Take a responsible approach to health, safety, and environmental risks, controlling or reporting them as appropriate.
* Perform any other duties as required, commensurate with the role of an Assembler.
* Complete quality control forms.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATION(S) / EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS FOR THE ROLE
* Experience in an engineering background, producing bespoke products.
* Previous mechanical assembly experience is essential.
* Time served in an engineering discipline is advantageous.
* Ability to operate hand air and torque tools effectively.
