You can choose to work in one of our three locations in Wakefield, Halifax, or Wibsey or share your hours between, with most of our sites equipped with facilities to provide the highest standard of care for our patients.
We understand that relocation can be daunting, which is why we offer relocation packages of up to £5k to help make the transition as smooth as possible. About us: 3-site practice located in Halifax, Wakefield, and Wibsey! We offer a high-quality service with 15-minute consultations. Our consultation hours are usually between 8:45-10am and 2pm – 6:30pm, and our operational hours are between 10 am – 1 pm. If you are looking for a full-time position, our usual working hours are between 8:45 am – 6:45 pm, with no weekend work. However, there might be a requirement for a share of weekend rota in the future, Saturday only. At our practice, you can choose which site you would like to work in or share some of the rota, which can be discussed at the interview. Additionally, we are a very supportive team, we do our regular check ins, team meetings and clinical discussions as well as lunch and learns on a monthly basis.
Our Team: We are a team of 3.5 Small Animal Vets, 5 Registered Veterinary Nurses, 4 Student Veterinary Nurses and 2 Patient Care Assistants with Reception staff and Practice Manager to support us on a daily basis. Two of our Vets are working towards internal medicine certificates and we do have a Vet in practice who does orthopaedic surgeries.
The role you will play: You will have the opportunity to build your own client base, to really make the practice feel like your own. There is scope for this here and we can work with you to get you there.
