What is the opportunity?
We have an excellent opportunity for a Paraplanner to join the team in London. As a Paraplanner, you will have a broad understanding of core Financial Planning solutions and build knowledge through exposure to client planning scenarios. You will analyse our clients' aims and needs to construct solutions as a tool for advisors to communicate to clients.
What will you do?
* Provides appropriate support for Financial Advisers/Financial Planners.
* Facilitates the smooth processing of new and existing business.
* Liaises with any administration support.
* Assists with monitoring the performance and work throughput of any administration support thereby ensuring standards are maintained and deadlines are met.
* Understands and complies with regulations and principles applying to the role and RBCBD policies and procedures.
* Adheres to Conduct Risk standards.
* Broad understanding of core Financial Planning solutions and building knowledge through exposure to client planning scenarios.
* Analyses client’s aims and needs to construct solutions as a tool for advisors to communicate to clients.
* Production of robust financial plans and analytical information in support of Financial Planners and Financial Advisers under supervision of more senior team members.
What do you need to succeed?
Must-have:
* CII Level 4 Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning or equivalent.
* Accuracy, numeracy, attention to detail.
* Clear and concise communication skills – oral and written.
* Ability to meet deadlines/work within restricted timescales.
Nice-to-have:
* Knowledge of RBC Brewin Dolphin values.
