Your new role as Assistant Management Accountant: As Assistant Management Accountant you shall support the Financial Controller in a rounded, versatile finance role. Providing an effective finance support service to the wider organisation you shall be responsible for a variety of tasks in a rewarding and growing organisation. Main Role Duties: Assisting in the preparation of monthly management accounts ensuring accuracy is maintained in line with the monthly deadlines Preparation of month end journals Balance sheet reconciliation Ledger management across 2 business entities Communicating with others in the function to form a solid working relationship Assist with budget and forecasting processes, providing analysis as required Accurate completion of financial transactions to ensure a clear audit trail Preparation of financial analysis to monitor KPIs set across the business Assist the year-end audit process, answering queries on ledger postings and financial transactions where required. Experience & Qualifications Required to apply: To be considered for this role you shall hold, or be actively studying a professional accounting qualification CIMA/ACA/ACCA/AAT. With experience of working in a finance position you shall have experience of working as part of a team with the ability to maintain positive working relationships. You shall have worked in a similar role and be rehearsed in the budget process in a customer driven environment.
