Join our dynamic team in Bolton as a Social Work Team Manager within the Community Health Mental Health Team (CHMT). This ongoing, full-time locum position offers competitive hourly pay at £42 and is perfect for someone with over five years of post-qualifying experience in an integrated mental health team. Although we operate a hybrid working policy, you will be expected to be in the office or out with clients four days a week, with one day allocated for admin tasks from the comfort of your home. You will assist the Operational Manager and Head of Mental Health Social Work Service, ensuring that our statutory and legal commitments are met efficiently and effectively.

What you will do:
1. Manage the team to maintain the highest standards and ensure effective case management for vulnerable clients and their carers.
2. Plan and manage services in response to individual needs, legislative changes, and strategic requirements.
3. Promote service improvements by collaborating with partners, commissioners, care managers, and providers.
4. Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, ethical, and social requirements.
5. Implement and monitor quality assurance systems and conduct quality audits.
6. Manage, present, and share information to support decision-making processes.
7. Proven ability to lead and manage a team efficiently.
8. Identify and plan team development needs.
9. Monitor and review performance regularly.
10. Cultivate trust and support among colleagues and team members.
11. Apply HR policies and procedures to enhance performance.
12. Experience in chairing, leading, and participating in meetings effectively.
13. Strong skills in data management and analysis.
14. Ensure service provision aligns with contractual and compliance standards.
15. Proven experience in effective partnership working and information exchange.
16. Compliance with laws relating to health, safety, and ethics.
17. Experience in project coordination and stakeholder communication.
18. Manage information technology systems proficiently.
19. Develop operational plans and manage resources efficiently.
20. Build strong working relationships with stakeholders to support carers.
Minimum Requirements:
1. At least three years' experience in managing services.
2. Professional qualification in Social Work, registered with Social Work England.
3. Strong knowledge of social and health legislation and current policy trends.
4. Flexible availability for work outside normal hours when required.
