Parts & Service Advisor – Tipton Van Centre
Position: Parts & Service Advisor
Location: Hobart Rd, DY4 9LE
Hours: Up to 45 hours a week, Monday to Friday, 08:30 – 18:00
Operating within the newly opened Van Centre, you will be part of a team focused on developing and maintaining excellent performance in Parts with some service reception tasks.
Core Responsibilities:
Parts:
* Take customer orders and ensure they are supplied correctly.
* Follow procedures for ordering and receiving goods.
* Maintain an efficient filing and retrieval system.
* Keep the parts area clean and organized, ensuring equipment is in good condition to reflect a modern, professional Retail Dealer point.
* Adhere to the Company Health and Safety policy, including wearing PPE when required.
Service:
* Greet customers professionally and warmly at the front of house, booking in vehicles and relaying cost and service information.
* Keep customers updated on timelines and costs where applicable.
* Maintain cleanliness and organization in the service area, ensuring equipment is in good condition.
* Follow the Company Health and Safety policy.
General Duties:
* Work collaboratively to foster a strong team ethos.
* Support personal and team development in skills, attitude, and performance.
* Conduct yourself professionally at all times.
* Assist in maintaining a clean and professional service and parts environment.
* Participate in training and development activities.
* Possess knowledge of vehicle parts and dealership front-of-house experience.
* Be proficient in using desktop PCs and related software and systems.
