A fantastic opportunity has risen for a dynamic and influential Security Site Manager to develop and manage a high-quality Security team in all areas of Security and maintain close working relations. The post holder will be responsible for developing excellent working relationships with customers and occupiers across the estate as well as managing day to day operational and contractual requirements. You will be closely involved in developing site procedures to ensure the staff team exceed customer expectations in delivering a professional, focused and customer service approach for all stakeholders on site. This impressive new refurbished building is located near St Pauls and will offer over 180,000 sq. ft of accommodation with floorplates ranging from 15,000 sq. ft to 29,000 sq. ft, suitable for a range of users from major trading floor operations to more agile and creative sectors. Information: Position: Security Site Manager Location: City of London Salary: £50,000 - £55,000 per annum Hours: 50 hours per week Shifts: Monday to Friday – 0800 to 1800 (but flexibility is essential) Job Requirements: SIA Door Supervisor Licence required Must have proven management experience of at least 2 years Excellent IT skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook Time management & Organisational skills Well-developed ability to manage customer & partner organisation relationships High level of written and verbal Communication Skills Able to work on own initiative Experience of managing and developing a team Strong customer service skills. Excellent verbal & written communication skills, including report writing. Attention to detail is imperative and auditing skills are an advantage Flexibility, reliability & being able to work - days / nights & weekends to suit the needs of the contract Job Responsibilities: Liaise and maintain good customer service relationships with site staff, visitors, customers and management team. To manage an effective working relationship with all, whilst representing the site and CIS-Security Ltd. Build and Maintain relationships, with the City of London Police and Local Authority from the City of London Corporation. Maintain and Create site specific standard operating procedures, general documentation, and event-based documents in line with government guidance. Manage and maintain the site operational working roster, amending and implementing any changes as required daily. Maintain effective communication, both verbal and written, with the customer, always ensuring the customer is aware of all operational developments. Carry out any tasks and report back as directed or instructed by the customer. Attend meetings as requested by the customer and make representation at weekly site meetings Oversee the collation of Sickness / lateness records daily and update ready for performance related meetings and monthly reporting Conduct fact find and disciplinary meetings - Assisting with official investigations and take meeting minutes. Ensure that all contractual requirements are fulfilled daily and maintain up to date records of it. Provide relief / break cover for security officers if required. Ensure all Logbooks and Registers are maintained in accordance with the company and the customer requirements. Ensure that all security personnel under your management are fully acquainted with the Assignment Instructions, Emergency Procedures and any other instructions issued by CIS / customer. Set high personal standards for others to follow. Maintain a good level of morale and discipline within the team taking into consideration their welfare. Liaise with the customer and CIS Account Director on all matters relating to the security of the premises, including, reporting on matters of discipline and welfare. Oversee estate operations in the absence of the Paternoster Square Security Manager. Communicate all matters in writing and verbally to all members of staff ensuring continuity.
