Head of Building Management
Boden Group have partnered with a fascinating venue in London to help source a Head of Building Management to lead the day-to-day facilities management operations at a prominent Centre. As the deputy to the Venue Operations Director, you'll oversee hard and soft services, utilities, security, and health & safety. You'll also manage budgets, ensuring cost-effective solutions without compromising quality. The role requires strong hard services understanding and experience.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead FM operations, compliance, and health & safety
* Manage and develop direct reports
* Oversee capital refurbishment projects and small works
* Liaise with service partners to ensure high standards
* Lead procurement, sustainability planning, and emergency/business continuity plans
* Manage energy usage and supplier relations
Requirements:
* Technical qualification in engineering, electrical, or related hard services desirable
* Recent FM leadership experience in a corporate, hospitality, events, or public sector setting
* Strong customer service skills and attention to detail
* Excellent organizational and communication skills
* Project Management and CDM experience
* Recognized UK Health and Safety qualification (NEBOSH or IOSH)
Desirable:
* Public sector contract and procurement experience
* Budget and finance skills
* Security contract experience
* CAFM and BMS experience
