Hours: 30 - 37 hours per week, Monday – Friday, term time plus 5 inset days and 1 extra week.
Salary: Grade 6 and scale point range 18 - 22, (Full time equivalent £30,559 - £32,654) Actual salary £21,858 - £28,807.

Longvernal Primary School, a vibrant and inclusive school nestled in the heart of Midsomer Norton, is seeking a dedicated School Office Manager. As the primary point of contact for the school office, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations, ensuring smooth running, and providing excellent support to staff, students, and parents.
Key Responsibilities:
● Clerical Duties:
○ Maintain accurate pupil records, medical records, and other registers.
○ Process paperwork, such as admissions, leavers, and attendance.
○ Provide general administrative support to the school office.
● Personnel Administration:
○ Assist with recruitment, onboarding, and offboarding processes.
○ Maintain accurate personnel records and ensure compliance with employment law.
○ Support with payroll and benefits administration.
● Financial Management:
○ Assist with budget monitoring and financial reporting.
○ Process invoices and payments.
○ Manage petty cash and other financial transactions.
● Governance Support: (if required in the future)
○ Provide clerical support to the Governing Body, including preparing agendas, taking minutes, and distributing documents when required.
○ Act as the Clerk to the Governors when required, providing advice on governance matters and ensuring compliance with statutory requirements.
