Job Title: Shift Engineer / Electrical Engineer

About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Shift Engineer / Electrical Engineer with a strong background in Mechatronics to join our team and support our Warehouse Automation System. You will work closely with a technical operator and remote software support teams to ensure system reliability and performance.
Key Responsibilities:
* Perform Planned Maintenance as per the schedule.
* Utilize SCADA systems to maintain system availability and troubleshoot failures.
* Diagnose breakdowns, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions.
* Ensure LOTO (Lockout/Tagout) procedures and permits are strictly followed.
* Work collaboratively with the Operations Manager to drive best practices and root cause analysis.
* Deliver detailed shift handovers, ensuring seamless communication between shifts.
* Champion Health & Safety best practices, reporting near misses and ensuring compliance.
* Engage in continuous improvement projects, including lean practices and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Shift Pattern:
* Rotational 12-hour shifts: 2 on, 2 off, 3 on, 2 off, 2 on, 3 off.
* Day and night shifts (12 PM-12 AM, 6 AM-6 PM, 6 PM-6 AM).
Salary & Benefits:
* £54,538.50 per annum

Ideal Candidate Profile:
* Strong Mechatronics, Electrical, or Automation Engineering background, ideally HNC Engineering or equivalent.
* Minimum of 1 year UK work experience in an automated warehouse, manufacturing, or engineering environment.
* Knowledge of SCADA, Selektron, and software-based troubleshooting.
* Hands-on experience with Inverters, Servo Drives, HMI panels, 24V rollers, shuttles, and lifts.
* Excellent problem-solving skills with a methodical approach to breakdowns.
* Strong communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Candidates must currently reside in the UK, hold a valid visa, and have UK work experience.
