About The Role
This position sits within the MO Technology function and reports into the Delivery Management Lead.
As part of our flexible delivery function, this role will provide co-ordination and delivery support for a variety of portfolio deliverables, either in support of a Delivery Manager on large scale projects/programmes, or autonomously for discreet initiatives or discovery activity.
Working closely with Delivery Managers, delivery teams, technology and business stakeholders, you’ll ensure that project, initiatives and discovery activities are mobilised, monitored and completed efficiently.
Key responsibilities include:
Delivery Support:
* Support delivery management in all phases of the delivery cycle, including discovery, project mobilisation and closure as required
* Own and drive small to medium-scale projects/discovery activity from initiation to completion, ensuring alignment with business goals
* Assist in the definition of project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with Delivery Managers and stakeholders
* Support the development and maintenance of project plans, ensuring alignment with business priorities and resource availability
* Deputise for Delivery Manager during absence, to oversee project deadlines and maintain progress
Risk and Issues analysis:
* Identify, analyse, and monitor project risks and issues proactively
* Work with stakeholders to develop and implement risk mitigation strategies
* Ensure dependencies are effectively tracked and managed across delivery teams
Financial and Resource Management:
* Monitor project budgets and financials, ensuring efficient use of resources and accurate forecasting
* Track resource requirements, including third parties, and collaborate with Portfolio Planning and Reporting Leads to support delivery prioritisation
Governance and Reporting:
* Regularly report on project progress, financials, risks, and key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure transparent governance
* Facilitate Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, retrospectives, and continuous improvement sessions
* Prepare reports, presentations, and data analysis, including costs, timelines, and variances, as required by governance models and stakeholder needs

* You have a structured and proactive approach to planning, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
* You are comfortable managing multiple priorities and stakeholder expectations in a fast-paced environment
* You will understand the need to demonstrate value and utilise relevant metrics to guide prioritisation and delivery planning
* You have excellent communication and collaboration skills and are confident working with technical and non-technical colleagues
* You are resilient in the face of challenges and view obstacles as opportunities to adapt and improve
* You are passionate about optimising the delivery function with a continuous improvement mindset
Minimum criteria:
* Delivery Focus: Proven ability to manage project deliverables, deadlines, and stakeholder expectations
* Risk Management: Experience in proactively identifying, analysing, and mitigating risks and issues
* Communication and Documentation: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with experience in facilitating meetings and optimising collaboration
* Stakeholder Management: Ability to engage and influence cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders
* Agile and Governance Knowledge: Familiarity with Agile and blended delivery methodologies, governance frameworks, and reporting mechanisms
* Attention to Detail: Ensuring accuracy and completeness in all documentation and processes
Who you’ll be working with:
You’ll be working closely with Delivery Managers, Business analysts and wider delivery teams, including a wide range of relevant 3rd parties. You will also collaborate with Portfolio Leads to ensure transparency and traceability of delivery value and outcomes.
