A specialist provision catering to students with a range of learning difficulties, including complex needs and disabilities. We provide a safe, inclusive, and nurturing learning environment where every student is supported to develop independence, confidence, and essential life skills.
Our dedicated staff work closely with students, families, and external professionals to ensure that each young person receives a personalised education that meets their individual needs.
Responsibilities:
1. Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to the needs of students with SEND.
2. Foster a positive, inclusive, and structured learning environment.
3. Support students' social, emotional, and academic development, helping them achieve their full potential.
4. Use a range of communication strategies and assistive technology to enhance learning.
5. Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, therapists, and external agencies to provide a holistic education.
6. Implement behaviour management strategies that promote emotional regulation and positive interactions.
Minimum Requirements:
1. A qualified teacher (QTS) with experience or an interest in working with students with SEND.
2. A patient, resilient, and empathetic educator who is passionate about inclusive education.
3. Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work collaboratively.
4. Experience with strategies such as PECS, Makaton, sensory integration, or behaviour support.
5. A commitment to professional development and a willingness to learn new approaches.
