About the Role
This role is responsible for delivering the highest standards of building maintenance within the Midlands Hub (Derby & Sheffield Venues) Geographical Area, covering Reactive, Planned Preventative, and Scheduled Maintenance Services. They will take full ownership of their duties, using initiative and effective time management to meet all role requirements.
This role focuses on ensuring the operational reliability, availability, and compliance of buildings, infrastructure, and equipment with statutory regulations, approved codes of practice, and Building Engineering Services Association (BESA) SFG maintenance schedules. The post holder will manage the operation, maintenance, and servicing of all building systems to uphold environmental conditions and service standards across assigned venues.

Key Responsibilities:
* Work on single phase and three phase electrical distribution systems and engineering equipment in Arena and Theatre Venues.
* Undertake planned maintenance Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning control systems.
* Undertake Planned Maintenance and Testing of Life Systems – Fire Alarms, Emergency Lighting, Standby Generators and Uninterruptable Power Supplies.
* Testing, inspection, and fault finding of electrical equipment.
* Able to undertake reactive maintenance and fault finding on electrical systems and equipment.
* Recording of maintenance and repair activities on Computer Aided Facilities System (CAFM).
You will have:
* Minimum of NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installation.
* 5 Years post qualification experience of undertaking Electrical Maintenance in Commercial / Industrial sector.
* BS7671, 18th Edition of Wiring Regulations.
* BS2391, Electrical Inspection and Testing (or equivalent BS2394 and BS2395).
* Full UK Driving Licence.
* Confidence to deal with clients & the ability to work under pressure, willingness to become a key member of the team and being able to self-manage your own workload. It will be essential to be able to work both as part of a team and on an individual basis.
