We are seeking a Marketing Executive to join our busy team. The role focuses on membership engagement, event planning, and marketing assistance for the ISP.

Reports to: Marketing Manager
Key Responsibilities:
1. Engagement to ensure value from ISP membership
1. Manage an ISP member community platform, fostering discussions, sharing insights and building connections among members.
2. Actively engage with members across ISP's social media platforms (LinkedIn, Facebook, TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube), ensuring consistent interaction, updates and responses to encourage participation.
3. Develop and execute social media strategies to increase visibility, drive engagement and grow the ISP community in conjunction with Marketing Manager and ISP’s content creator.
4. Support general marketing activities.
2. Engagement and Content Creation
1. Create and deliver innovative engagement activities designed to attract new members and increase participation among existing members.
2. Plan and execute newsletters, surveys and other virtual or in-person activities to offer meaningful Continuing Professional Development (CPD) content and support member retention.
3. Events Coordination and Delivery
1. Plan, manage and coordinate high-quality in-person and virtual events, including training sessions, awards ceremonies and networking for members and partners.
2. Identify and implement creative event delivery methods to maximise member satisfaction and value.
4. Data and Insights
1. Use analytics tools to track engagement performance across community platforms and social media, identifying opportunities for improvement.
2. Report on the success of initiatives and recommend strategies to enhance member engagement.
5. Internal Communications
1. Source content, suggest themes, create and distribute the monthly internal newsletter.
2. Organise team quarterly and ad-hoc meetings and events.
Qualifications and experience:
1. At least 2 years of experience in marketing, community engagement and event planning.
2. Ability to self-manage and motivate. A can-do attitude.
3. Experience of working in a small organisation.
4. Strong communication, organisation and multitasking skills.
5. Ability to work remotely under own supervision.
6. Commitment to diversity, equality and inclusion.
Working hours/location: We are seeking 35 hours Mon-Fri (9am to 5pm). The role is hybrid, with at least 1-2 days worked from our Harpenden office and the remainder from home. Own car is essential due to location.
