The National Manufacturing Institute Scotland (NMIS) is seeking a dynamic and experienced Industrial Doctorate Centre Manager to lead the expansion and growth of our well-established doctoral centre, aligning with our strategic goals and key sectors. Based within the Manufacturing Skills Academy (MSA) at NMIS Netherton, the successful candidate will collaborate closely with the current 0.5 FTE Industrial Doctoral Centre Manager, with a primary focus on expanding our network of partners and securing additional funding. The successful candidate will forge strong partnerships with industry leaders, academic and research institutions, and NMIS specialist centres, including the Digital Factory, Lightweight Manufacturing Centre, Advanced Forming Research Centre, and Digital Process Manufacturing Centre, showcasing the significant impact and successes of the NMIS industry doctorate centre.
