Our multi-site consulting rooms and outpatient centre provide a range of services, including minor procedures. Job Profile
The Nurse Manager will provide visible leadership to the staff, whilst being responsible for the overall day-to-day management of the department. To assume full responsibility for the clinical services within the Outpatient department.
* Job Type: This is a full-time, permanent position working 37.5 hours per week.
* Shifts: 37.5 hours per week, shifts between 09.00 – 5:00pm, Monday - Friday.
* Salary: We are offering a competitive salary starting from £60,848 per annum, inclusive dependent on skills and experience.

Key Duties
* To be responsible for the day-to-day management of the Outpatient areas, ensuring effective/efficient use of staff, supplies and patient activity to promote excellent patient outcomes, care, experience and safety.
* The post holder will have evidence of competencies in managing the team on a daily basis across the estate and will support and deputise for the Modern Matron as and when required in their absence.
* To act as a visible role model for excellent communication skills and create an environment to promote this within the teams. To organise departmental meetings to discuss future developments within the specialty, maintain effective communication between staff and other departments and cascade information from management level.
* To work closely with the finance business partner in managing the ward budget ensuring financial sustainability.
* To promote effective communication across the multi-disciplinary team and to act as liaison to enhance seamless patient care in an outpatient setting.
* Provide effective clinical leadership supporting and inspiring nursing colleagues and effectively managing staff recruitment and retention within the departments.
* Ensure the provision of excellent evidence-based care for patients - being open to ideas that may be forthcoming from consultants and liaising with the business development team in promoting new services.
