Regional Sales Manager - Generator Hire
Location: Midlands & North
Salary: £33,000 - £55,000 (DOE) + Commission + Car

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Regional Sales Manager to join a leading engineering firm that specializes in the hire of emergency diesel generators. This is a great chance to work with an established company, offering a comprehensive range of services including Sales, Service, Installation, Hire, and Parts for high-quality generator solutions.
About the Role:
1. Key Focus: Selling hire contracts for emergency diesel generators across the Midlands and North regions.
2. Client Base: Engage with a variety of clients including local councils, health authorities, utilities, government bodies, blue-chip organizations, and contractors in the electrical and construction sectors.
3. Sales Process: Identify potential clients, build and nurture relationships, present competitive offers, and manage the tender process from start to finish.
4. Collaboration: Work closely with an experienced sales team to drive regional sales and contribute to overall business growth.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Prospect and identify new business opportunities within your geographical area.
2. Build long-term relationships with clients through regular visits and face-to-face meetings.
3. Understand customer requirements and offer tailored solutions.
4. Prepare and present competitive offers, negotiate terms, and manage the full sales cycle.
5. Provide regular updates and sales reports to the UK Sales Manager.
Required Experience & Qualifications:
1. Proven experience in the sales of hire contracts, preferably within the industrial, commercial, health, and construction sectors.
2. Full, clean driving licence with the ability to travel regularly within your region.
3. Competence with Microsoft Office and general computer applications.
4. Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with clients at all levels.
5. Self-motivated, driven, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
