PA to the Family Law Team
Based: Epsom
Paying: £32,000
Monday to Friday 9am - 5:30pm / Friday 9am - 5pm

Our client, a leading law firm, is looking for a PA to support 2 partners.
Main Responsibilities:
* Use a high degree of self-management and initiative.
* Meet business objectives by providing advice to clients on all areas of private family law.
* Support all fee earners by picking up digital dictation and assisting in the office from Epsom.
* Prepare correspondence and documents, including transcribing digital dictation.
* Administer filing, including daily filing and managing client files in accordance with office procedures.
* Prepare mail and enclosures for dispatch.
* Arrange for all copying to be done.
* Make appointments, arrange meetings, and maintain an up-to-date diary for fee earner(s).
* Prepare the conference room for meetings and provide refreshments as necessary.
* Provide support to other secretaries as required.
* Attend clients both in person and on the telephone, offering professional and friendly support.
* Undertake specific training when required and have a responsibility towards self-development.
* Ensure the confidentiality of all firm and client documentation and information.
* Complete online form-filling requirements.
* Operate the firm's case management system.
* Consider improvements to the efficiency of the department.
* Undertake other duties as required.
Qualifications:
Excellent speed typing skills.
Essential Personal Qualities and Attributes/Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities:
* Substantial previous legal secretarial experience, including at least 2 years in the specialist area.
* Advanced IT skills in relevant packages and excellent speed typing skills.
* Ability to keep up with fee earner's work production and understand their working preferences.
* High accuracy levels.
* Pro-active approach to work with a positive attitude.
* Excellent attention to client service and ability to interact well with both internal and external clients.
* Ability and willingness to work to deadlines, cope under pressure, prioritize workloads effectively, and work as part of a team.
* Commitment to the firm and genuine interest in legal work.
* High level of courtesy and respect in dealing with all colleagues and clients.
* Willingness to take on other tasks as required by fee earner(s).
Desirable Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities:
* Prior knowledge of Practice Evolve or other case management systems.
* Knowledge of law/legal practice.
