Overview
As an Engineering Lecturer at Doncaster College, you will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality instruction to students across a range of programs, including apprenticeships, further education, and work-based learning initiatives. Duties
* Develop and deliver engaging lectures and seminars that facilitate student learning.
* Create and implement course materials, including syllabi, lesson plans, and assessments.
* Provide academic support and guidance to students, addressing their individual needs.
* Foster an inclusive classroom environment that encourages participation and collaboration.
* Assess student performance through assignments, examinations, and feedback.
* Stay current with developments in the field of study to ensure relevant content delivery.
* Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development and departmental initiatives.

Experience
* A degree in a relevant field is essential; a postgraduate qualification is preferred.
* Proven experience in teaching or lecturing at the higher education level is advantageous.
* Strong IT skills for utilising educational technology and online learning platforms.
* Demonstrated ability to lead discussions and communicate complex ideas effectively.
* Excellent organisational skills to manage course logistics and student assessments.
