Baker Charles are currently working with a growing privately owned hospitality company to help them hire a Chief Operating Officer to help drive the company towards further growth. This Chief Operating Officer role will act as a conduit between the owners and the rest of the business.
You will be responsible for all aspects of running the business which will include - finance, IT, operations and HR. You will be responsible for providing strategic support and overall management of the company.
As COO you will have primary day to day responsibility for business goals and advising the board of directors on all organisational activities whilst overseeing and streamlining daily operations and executing special business projects.
Responsibilities:
* Be an exceptional leader for the senior management team.
* Oversee new financing and refinances with existing and prospective lenders. Build new relationships with new lenders, manage existing ones.
* Be the main lead for acquisitions for the group and work as part of the team to ensure the existing pipeline of assets starts development.
* Direct and manage the organisation’s strategy both on a future growth level and a day to day.
* Oversee daily operations of the organisation, providing executive direction for strategies and efficiencies, compliance, and quality assurance.
* Create business plans for achieving goals and objectives set in collaboration with board of directors.
* Be the face of the organization and participate in external events to increase visibility, credibility, and market brand, and develop strategic partnerships to further increase commercial awareness of the group.
* Oversee and report on the company results for senior management.
* Prepare accurate and timely analyses that capture and communicate business results, variances, and performance trends.
* Coordinate and lead annual budget reviews, monthly and quarterly reviews, and periodic forecast updates with operational and senior management for all locations.
* Retain a diverse & highly skilled workforce and provide career coaching.

Experience:
* Previous experience in a similar role in the Hospitality Industry.
* Preference for previous accountant, investment, banking or finance roles held in hotel sector.
* Proven track record in leading and managing high growth and expansion.
* Site pre-opening experience desirable.
* Hands-on experience with budgeting and risk management.
