Are you an experienced Teaching Assistant looking to step up into a leadership role? We are seeking a dedicated Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join a high-achieving secondary school in Stockport. This is a rewarding opportunity to take on additional responsibilities, including lesson delivery and targeted student interventions.
Role Responsibilities:
* Lead whole-class lessons in the absence of a teacher, following pre-planned materials.
* Provide targeted intervention sessions for small groups or individual students who need extra support.
* Assist in planning and delivering engaging learning activities in collaboration with teaching staff.
* Support student progress, engagement, and wellbeing across different subject areas.
* Help manage classroom behaviour and ensure a positive learning environment.

Requirements:
* HLTA qualification or significant experience as a Teaching Assistant with leadership responsibilities.
* Experience delivering lessons or leading interventions in a secondary school setting.
* Strong communication and classroom management skills.
* A proactive, adaptable, and supportive approach to working with students of all abilities.
* A passion for education and helping young people succeed.
