Mobile Support Officer (Female)
Open to non-drivers and drivers
£11.56 per hour (PAYE)
On-going temporary assignment
Due to the intimate and sensitive nature of our clients, it is essential that certain roles are carried out by female staff. This occupational requirement complies with the legal exemptions under the Equality Act 2010, which allow for gender-specific roles where privacy and dignity considerations apply. As such, we require female staff to assist with fitting tagging equipment on female device wearers.
Assignment Details:
Working Pattern: Up to 37.5 hours per week.
Shifts: Coverage is required 7 days a week, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Most shifts run from 5pm to 1.30am (7.5-hour shifts). Shifts are issued based on business needs.
Training: 1-day online training and induction provided.
Your Role:
As an Electronic Monitoring Support Officer, you will:
Collaborate with the electronic monitoring tagging team during daily operations, attending visits with them in a support capacity.
Assist in the installation, maintenance and decommissioning of electronic monitoring devices in individual's homes.
Provide exceptional customer service and support to individuals under electronic monitoring.
Build valuable communication and problem-solving skills while contributing to public safety.
Requirements:
You must live within a 20-minute commute time to the LS8 postcode area.
You must have your own vehicle with business insurance (mileage can be claimed).
Flexibility in driving, with no more than 9 points on your license.
DBS clearance.
No prior experience is required - comprehensive training will be provided!
