Job Description We are currently recruiting a Credit Management Clerk - Duties and Taxes to strengthen our Credit Management Team. You will administer the associated processes to collect duty & tax payments from customers and receivers in order to customs clear imported and exported parcels for delivery. Manage customer interactions via telephone and email ensuring our customers expectations are always appropriately met. Other duties include; Administering the recovery invoicing of duties and taxes paid on behalf of our customers to aid the customers clearance and subsequent delivery of exported parcels Investigating customer invoice queries against clearly defined policies and administering credit notes where appropriate. Managing accounts receivable ledger, proactively contacting customers via telephone and email to ensure invoices are paid to agreed payment terms Contacting receivers to prompt them to make payment of any duties and taxes to aid the customers clearance and subsequent delivery of imported parcels. Facilitate the set up of receiver deferment accounts to aid the customers clearance and subsequent delivery of imported parcels. Manage inbound calls and email relating to all of the above areas ensuring our customers expectations are always appropriately met Ensure all tasks are completed with agreed timescales ensuring all defined quality standards are met. Complete ad hoc tasks in relation to the above when appropriate
