Commercial Sales & Bid Manager - Foster Coldstores
Foster Coldstores, based in Kings Lynn Norfolk, are the leading manufacturer and installer of walk-in coldrooms in the UK.
To further strengthen our business, we are looking for a highly experienced commercial sales manager to join our team.
We have a strong customer base, consisting of key accounts, regional dealer accounts, and projects-based consultant and specified-led business.
Our industry of installing coldrooms is evolving due to regulations and is becoming more complex. We view this as an opportunity to reinforce our position as a market leader. Technological developments around environmental impact are driving us into a market of green technology, for example, CO2 and A2L refrigerants, heat reclaim, and a general move towards net zero.
To capitalize on this marketplace, we are looking to recruit a commercial sales manager who can promote our business and technologies to our customer base, supported by our commercial and technical team.
Responsibilities:
* Proven technical capability and knowledge of refrigeration design.
* Ideally has experience in coldroom sales.
* Team player who will be able to work with our inquiries to provide solutions to our consultants and clients.
* Assist the commercial director, share workload, and engage proactively with our clients.
* Focus on our pipeline to win more business.
* Provide training to our sales agents and assist where needed, upskilling.
* Help develop new markets such as clean rooms.
* Help further develop our funeral care business.
* Develop with the commercial director a process for a multidisciplinary review of large tender submissions to ensure we provide the most competitive offer while protecting business profitability.
* Place of work is based in Kings Lynn with nationwide travel to see clients.
This is a senior management position in a growing business. The package includes a company car, performance bonus, and a highly competitive salary for the right applicant.
