Job Overview
As the Assets Collection Lead Manager you will be providing leadership and overseeing all the asset collection team daily operations whilst ensuring quality of service across the board. This role will be partnering closely with the Head of Assets management for effective strategic planning of wide and varied teams of remote asset surveyors to always ensure operational efficiency as well as designing and implementing frameworks and procedures.

Main Duties:
Main duties of this position will be to support existing Mitie contracts with estate change offering asset care services and support and to provide technical support, delivering asset management solutions and visible support to the business management teams.
Other main responsibilities will be the preparation of monthly accounts including all invoicing, revenue recognition and cost summary, along with providing assistant to senior management with financial statements as well as oversight and management of projects budgets to ensure we are in line.
As this position will be overseeing the asset collection team and external teams other duties will include day to day management to ensure the team understand and meet expectations and standards within the projects e.g communications, time, risk, reporting, processes etc. Also to review methods of working, alternative materials to maximise efficiency, alongside developing plans, objective setting and training of the team.
You will also develop the asset care commercial offering to include and support sales presentations, marketing and client satisfaction whilst engaging with the Mitie bid teams to ensure accurate pricing and description of asset care which is included within all tender submissions.
Person specification
We are looking for the successful individual to have experience of planning and scheduling within a projects-based environment and experience with budgeting, resource allocation procedures, maintenance operation and working to tight deadlines.
* Excellent communication skills combined with the ability to negotiate to achieve company objectives
* Presentation skills at all levels including key stakeholders
* Experience in writing & production of reports/proposals.
* Be flexible for occasional late working and travel
* General understanding of commercial tendering process and associated activities.
* Asset Collection management experience (advantageous)
* Project Management/Construction Management qualification.
